Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Employee Benefits Account Manager to lead the administration and management of employee benefits programs. This role is vital in ensuring compliance with employment and labor laws, HR legal standards, and regulatory requirements while delivering exceptional service to our clients. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, a deep understanding of benefits administration, and proficiency with HR systems such as Workday, SAP SuccessFactors, Oracle HCM, and other HRIS platforms. As an energetic team player, you will drive the success of benefits programs by coordinating with various stakeholders, analyzing data, and ensuring seamless benefits delivery across multiple systems.
Duties
- Manage and administer employee benefits programs including health insurance, workers' compensation, FMLA (Family and Medical Leave Act), and other statutory benefits.
- Utilize HR systems such as Workday, UltiPro, Paylocity, and Oracle HCM to process enrollments, updates, and compliance reporting efficiently.
- Ensure HR legal compliance by staying current on employment laws related to benefits, HIPAA (Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act), Medicare regulations, and other relevant legislation.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to negotiate contracts, resolve issues, and improve benefits offerings.
- Conduct employee orientation sessions on benefits options, policies, and procedures; support employee evaluation processes related to benefits.
- Analyze benefit data for trends, compliance gaps, or cost-saving opportunities using data collection and analysis skills; prepare regulatory reports as required.
- Support payroll management by coordinating benefit deductions with payroll providers like ADP or Paylocity; ensure accurate payroll processing related to benefits.
- Provide training and development on benefits administration systems such as Dayforce or Lawson; assist in HR system upgrades or implementations like SAP SuccessFactors or Ceridian.
Qualifications
- Employee Navigator experience a must.
- Proven experience managing employee benefits programs with a strong understanding of health insurance knowledge, workers' compensation, FMLA, HIPAA regulations, and employment law.
- Strong data analysis skills for collecting and interpreting benefit-related data; ability to generate insights for program improvement.
- Excellent communication skills for engaging with employees at all levels; adept at negotiation and resolving complex issues efficiently.
- Knowledge of regulatory reporting requirements related to employee benefits; familiarity with Medicare rules is advantageous.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Relevant certifications PHR/SPHR are preferred but not required.

Pay: $65,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
