Position Summary
The Freezer Picker is responsible for accurately picking finished goods in cold storage environments ranging from -10° to 40°F. Using an RF scanner and the warehouse management system, this role ensures products are picked correctly, palletized safely, and staged for outbound processing during peak production.
Key Responsibilities
- Pick product using an RF scanner in cold storage, ensuring correct SKUs and quantities.
- Enter data into the warehouse management system using scanning equipment.
- Palletize finished products and move pallets to staging using a hand-jack.
- Meet or exceed established production and accuracy standards.
- Follow all SQF (Safe Quality Food) and facility safety guidelines.
- Maintain consistent and reliable attendance.
Qualifications
- Some high school education required.
- 6+ months experience in a distribution or warehouse environment preferred.
- Basic reading and math skills (counting, matching, adding, subtracting, multiplying).
- PC skills or prior experience with inventory scanning equipment required.
Physical Demands
- Ability to work in cold storage for the entire shift (-10° to 40°F).
- Ability to stand and walk for 10–12 hours.
- Lift 20–30 lbs. continuously and up to 50 lbs. occasionally.
- Use a hand-jack and forklift safely and effectively.
- Ability to climb stairs in cooler and freezer areas.
- Must maintain reliable attendance.
Seasonal Incentives & Peak Benefits
- $1.00 Shift Differential Included: Total pay is $25.00 an hour

Work Schedule
- Sunday - Thursday 4:30pm - 1:00am
- Additional overtime as needed, including potential 7-day weeks during peak season.
