Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Repair Technician Supervisor / Team Leader to oversee and coordinate our repair team’s daily operations. In this role, you will lead a team of skilled technicians responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a variety of electronic and mechanical equipment. Your leadership will ensure that repairs are completed efficiently, accurately, and to the highest quality standards. Duties
- Supervise and motivate a team of repair technicians, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback to optimize productivity and quality.
- Coordinate daily repair schedules, ensuring timely completion of service requests and adherence to safety protocols.
- Assist technicians with complex troubleshooting using schematics, technical manuals, and diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters and low voltage testers.
- Oversee the disassembly, inspection, repair, and reassembly of electronic devices, computer hardware, and mechanical components using hand tools and specialized equipment.
- Maintain detailed records of repairs performed, parts used, and service documentation for accountability and reporting purposes.
- Ensure all team members follow safety standards related to electrical systems, low voltage wiring, and equipment handling procedures.
- Collaborate with other departments to streamline workflows, improve repair processes, and enhance overall service quality.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in field service or service technician roles involving equipment repair and maintenance.
- Strong mechanical knowledge combined with hands-on experience using hand tools for disassembly and assembly tasks.
- Familiarity with computer hardware components, schematics, wiring diagrams, and troubleshooting techniques.
- Knowledge of computer networking concepts relevant to diagnosing connectivity issues in electronic systems.
- Ability to interpret schematics and technical manuals accurately for effective repairs.
- Experience working with low voltage systems, electrical testing tools such as ohmmeters, and troubleshooting electrical circuits.
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to supervise a team effectively while maintaining high standards of safety and quality.
