Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and safety-conscious Tree Service Worker to join our team. This role involves performing tree care, trimming, and landscape maintenance tasks to ensure the health and aesthetic appeal of clients' outdoor spaces. The ideal candidate will have growing experience in horticulture or landscaping, with a strong interest in tree care and related activities. Responsibilities
- Perform tree trimming, pruning, and removal using appropriate techniques and equipment
- Operate bucket trucks and other aerial lift devices safely for elevated work
- Use rigging techniques to safely lower large branches or trees during removal or pruning
- Assist with planting, transplanting, and other horticultural activities to promote healthy growth
- Maintain safety standards by inspecting equipment and ensuring proper use at all times
- Support team efforts in maintaining clean work sites and adhering to environmental regulations
Qualifications
- Experience or growing knowledge in tree care, horticulture, or landscaping preferred
- Familiarity with rigging techniques and bucket operation is a plus
- Ability to operate aerial lifts safely and efficiently
- Strong interest in arboriculture with a desire to develop skills further in tree trimming and land management
- Physical ability to perform strenuous outdoor work, including lifting heavy loads and working at heights
- Valid driver’s license preferred for operating equipment or traveling between sites
- Commitment to safety procedures and environmental stewardship
Starting pay rates vary by position and skill set multiple positions available
Groundsman - $17/hr+
Aerial worker(some experience required) - $19/hr+
Groundsman or aerial worker with CDL - $20/hr+
