About the Role: What You’ll Be Doing
The Plant Accounting Associate plays a key role in supporting our plant’s daily operations. You will:
- Manage the administrative functions of the office, including facility oversight and transportation personnel coordination.
- Handle local HR responsibilities such as onboarding, recordkeeping, employee file management, and supporting plant-level HR initiatives.
- Process accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) with accuracy and timeliness.
- Assist the Plant Manager with day-to-day operational support and project coordination.
- Work closely with the sales, production, and plant management teams to process purchase orders and customer requests.
- Perform data entry, prepare sales and operational reports, and manage billing activities.
- Deliver excellent customer service in person, over the phone, and via email.
What We’re Looking For:
- High school diploma or GED required; post-secondary education preferred.
- Experience with AP/AR and basic HR functions is a plus.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, multi-tasking environment.
- Positive attitude and willingness to work as part of a team.
