Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced, professional, and safety-focused Tow Truck Operators to join our growing fleet. We are looking for motivated individuals who take pride in their work, provide excellent customer service, and are ready to respond to a variety of towing, transport, roadside assistance, and recovery operations.

Responsibilities
- Operate light-duty and medium-duty wreckers and flatbeds.
- Perform roadside services including tire changes, lockouts, jump starts, and winch-outs.
- Safely recover disabled, damaged, and abandoned vehicles.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
- Complete electronic tow tickets and required documentation accurately and timely.
- Maintain compliance with all DOT, FMCSA, company, and safety regulations.
- Communicate professionally with customers, law enforcement agencies, municipalities, dispatchers, and insurance representatives.
- Maintain a clean, professional appearance and positive attitude.
- Respond to emergency calls in all weather conditions.
- Properly secure vehicles and equipment using industry-approved methods.
- Maintain company vehicles, equipment, and work areas in a clean and safe condition.
Requirements
- Valid Connecticut Driver's License with a clean driving record.
- Class B CDL preferred; Class A CDL is a plus.
- Current Medical Examiner's Certificate (DOT Medical Card) or ability to obtain one.
- Physical stamina to load/unload vehicles and perform manual tasks in various weather.
- Ability to pass; DOT Drug Screening, Background Check, Motor Vehicle Record Review.
- Ability to safely lift 75 pounds or more.
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and professionalism.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to work rotating on-call schedules, nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior towing and recovery experience.
- WreckMaster Certification.
- Mechanical knowledge and troubleshooting skills.
- Commercial vehicle transport experience.

Pay: $29.00 - $34.00 per hour
