Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and highly organized <PERSON> Coordinator to oversee and streamline the management of facilities maintenance and mechanical systems within our manufacturing environment. This role is vital in ensuring the optimal operation of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems, while maintaining compliance with safety regulations and managing maintenance teams effectively. The ideal candidate will bring strong leadership, technical expertise, and project management skills to coordinate maintenance activities, troubleshoot engineering issues, and uphold high standards of safety and efficiency across our facilities. Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise facilities maintenance teams to ensure timely completion of repairs, inspections, and preventive maintenance for mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems.
- Develop and implement maintenance repair procedures in accordance with safety regulations such as OSHA standards.
- Manage facilities maintenance schedules using Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) to track work orders, asset history, and inventory.
- Troubleshoot engineering problems related to programmable logic controllers (PLCs), electrical systems—including high voltage and low voltage wiring—and mechanical systems using schematics and testing tools like ohmmeters.
- Oversee the repair and maintenance of HVAC systems, including troubleshooting mechanical issues and performing repairs on HVAC units.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations by conducting regular safety audits, training staff on OSHA requirements, and maintaining a safe working environment.
- Collaborate with project management teams to plan upgrades or new installations of mechanical or electrical systems within manufacturing facilities.
Requirements
- Proven management experience supervising facilities maintenance or industrial maintenance teams within a manufacturing setting.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in HVAC system repair, plumbing system maintenance, electrical systems—including high voltage—and troubleshooting using schematics.
- Familiarity with programmable logic controllers (PLCs), electrical troubleshooting tools such as ohmmeters, and engineering troubleshooting techniques.
- Experience managing facilities maintenance management software (CMMS) and implementing maintenance repair procedures aligned with safety standards.
- Knowledge of OSHA safety regulations and ability to enforce safety protocols effectively.
- Excellent project management skills with the ability to coordinate multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite for reporting, documentation, and communication purposes.
- Fluency in English; additional language skills are a plus.
- Strong leadership qualities with proven team management capabilities in a fast-paced industrial environment.
