Responsibilities
- Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that align with early childhood education standards.
- Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages exploration and learning.
- Manage classroom behavior effectively, ensuring a safe and respectful atmosphere for all students.
- Assess children's progress through various methods, including assessments.
- Collaborate with parents and guardians to support children's development and address any concerns related to their learning or behavior.
- Provide individualized support for children with special needs or those requiring early intervention services.
- Foster literacy education through engaging activities that promote reading and writing skills.
- Incorporate physical education into the curriculum to promote overall health and wellness among students.
- Maintain accurate records of student progress, attendance, and other relevant documentation.
- Participate in ongoing professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills and knowledge in early childhood education.
Qualifications
- Proven experience working with children in a preschool or daycare setting is essential.
- Knowledge of childhood development principles, behavior management techniques, and effective classroom management strategies.
- Familiarity with curriculum development, lesson planning, and teaching methodologies suitable for preschool-aged children.
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with students, parents, and colleagues.
- Ability to create engaging learning experiences that cater to diverse learning styles and needs.

- MUST have the required DCF and Early Learning Coalition certification.
- MUST be able to clear DCF Florida basckground check.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour
