Overview
We are a professional yet casual Pediatric Dental Office with an opening for a full time or part time dental assistant. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work in a vibrant, patient-centered environment dedicated to promoting healthy smiles. We offer a friendly caring work atmosphere and competitive pay. Minimum 1 year experience in dental field preferred but not required.
Duties
- Assists dentist with dental treatments chairside
- Chart and update patient records
- Prepare instruments, sterilize equipment, and sanitize treatment areas
- Take digital radiographs
- Perform coronal polishing and apply fluoride
- Front Office Support, including but not limited to greeting patients, answering phones, scheduling, maintaining files as needed
- Responsible for patient flow, keeping treatment rooms neat and organized
- Instruct patients in oral hygiene
Skills
- Must have current WA Dental Assistant Registration
- Ability to project a positive, warm and professional image in person and on the phone
- Must be service-oriented and enjoys working with children of all ages
- Ability to multi-task, take initiative and anticipate needs of others
- Reliable and prompt
- Works well in a team, enthusiasm and consideration of others
Pay Range:
$24-30 per hour/DOE
