We’re hiring a Direct Support Professional / Caregiver to support individuals with developmental disabilities, autism, and other support needs.
This role is temp to hire with a fantastic organization. The following shifts are available:
- 12 hour shift options: Day Shift (7am-7pm) /Overnight Shift (7pm-7am)
- 8 hour shift options: 6am-2pm, 2pm-10pm, 10pm-6am
- You can pick up extra shifts as desired.
- Occasional rotating weekend coverage
In this role, you’ll help people live more independently, stay safe, build daily living skills, and participate in their community.

What You’ll Do
- Assist with daily living activities like:
- bathing
- dressing
- grooming
- meal preparation
- Provide support with behavior plans and positive reinforcement
- Help individuals build independence and life skills
- Support participation in home, school, or community activities
- Transport individuals to appointments, programs, or activities as needed
- Administer medications as directed
- Document services, behaviors, and important updates
- Work closely with families and care teams to provide consistent support
What We’re Looking For
- Experience supporting individuals with developmental disabilities, autism, or other disabilities
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Patience, compassion, and a respectful approach to care
- Ability to work independently and stay professional in different situations
- Experience with documentation and basic data collection
- Medication administration experience is a plus
- Valid driver’s license and safe driving record preferred
- American Sign Language (ASL) or other communication experience is a plus

Pay: $19.00 - $22.50 per hour
