Harter's Lakeside Disposal is a family-owned, multi-generation, and growing company that takes pride in providing exceptional service to our customers and communities. We are currently seeking a motivated, dependable, and customer-focused professional to join our team as a Customer Service Representative / Collections / Accounts Receivable / Scale Operator.
This is a fast-paced, full-time position that requires excellent communication, strong organizational skills, and the ability to multitask while delivering outstanding customer service.
Responsibilities
- Answer incoming phone calls from residential and commercial customers
- Assist customers with service requests, account questions, and issue resolution
- Provide quotes for new residential and commercial services
- Process daily work orders and service requests
- Handle billing inquiries and explain invoices
- Perform collections calls in a professional and courteous manner
- Assist with Accounts Receivable functions
- Weigh incoming and outgoing trucks using the truck scale
- Maintain accurate customer and transaction records
- Work collaboratively with drivers, dispatch, and office staff to provide exceptional customer service
Qualifications
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Word and Excel
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong organizational and time management abilities
- Professional phone etiquette
- Ability to multitask and prioritize in a busy office environment
- Strong attention to detail
- Positive attitude and a strong work ethic
- Customer service, collections, or office experience preferred
Schedule
- Full-time
- Monday through Friday
- 8-9hour shifts
- Occasional Saturdays as needed
