Overview
We are seeking dedicated and reliable Janitorial Sub-Contractors to maintain clean, safe, and welcoming environments across various commercial and residential facilities. Duties
- Perform comprehensive cleaning duties including sweeping, mopping, dusting, trash removal, and sanitizing surfaces to uphold high hygiene standards.
- Operate cleaning equipment such as floor buffers, vacuums, and pressure washers to ensure optimal results across different surfaces.
- Handle chemical agents safely by following proper chemical handling safety procedures and safety protocol adherence.
- Conduct floor care activities including buffing, polishing, stripping, and sealing floors to maintain a professional appearance.
- Assist with facilities maintenance tasks such as minor repairs, painting touch-ups, and general upkeep to support overall building operations.
- Follow safe lifting practices during heavy lifting tasks involving custodial supplies or equipment to prevent injuries.
- Provide excellent customer service by responding promptly to client requests and maintaining a professional demeanor at all times.
Experience
- Prior custodial or janitorial experience in commercial or industrial settings is highly preferred.
- Familiarity with cleaning procedures involving chemical agents and sanitation protocols.
- Experience operating cleaning equipment such as floor buffers, scrubbers, and vacuums is essential.
- Knowledge of safety procedures related to chemical handling safety procedures and heavy lifting is required.
- Previous work in facilities maintenance or industrial cleaning demonstrates a strong foundation for this role.
- Experience in residential painting or porter duties can be advantageous but is not mandatory.
- A demonstrated commitment to safety protocol adherence ensures a secure working environment for all team members.
