Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and assist them with menu selections, including drinks and food options tailored to their preferences.
- Prepare and serve beverages , adhering to recipes and safety standards
- Take accurate food and drink orders, inputting them efficiently into the POS system while managing multiple tables or bar stations.
- Ensure timely delivery of orders while maintaining high standards of food safety, food handling, and cleanliness throughout service.
- Manage cash handling responsibilities, including cashiering duties and processing payments accurately using POS systems.
- Maintain a clean, organized bar and dining area, complying with health regulations related to food safety and sanitation.
- Engage with guests actively to promote specials, upsell menu items, and foster a welcoming atmosphere in both fine dining settings and lively nightclubs or banquet events.
Requirements
- Proven experience in food service or hospitality roles, ideally within restaurant, nightclub, or banquet environments.
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple tables or bar stations efficiently during busy hours.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to connect with diverse guests quickly and professionally.
- Knowledge of food safety standards, food handling procedures, and proper alcohol serving practices.
- Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math calculations, and accurate billing.
- Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and special events such as private parties.
