Job Summary:
Must hold one of the following licenses: LSW, LPC, LISW, or LPCC.
We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Behavioral Healthcare Provider (BHP) to provide behavioral health services to clients in a clinical setting. The BHP will work as part of an interdisciplinary team to assess client needs, provide therapeutic interventions, coordinate care, and support treatment and rehabilitation goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide behavioral health and psychosocial interventions within the scope of practice.
- Conduct individual, family, and group counseling, education, testing, and therapeutic interventions as appropriate.
- Assess clients and determine appropriate intervention techniques based on individual needs.
- Develop treatment goals and objectives focused on improving client functioning and addressing behavioral health concerns.
- Interview clients and family members to identify needs, establish goals, and develop appropriate treatment plans.
- Monitor client progress and response to treatment and provide feedback regarding the effectiveness of prescribed interventions.
- Participate in the development, implementation, and evaluation of treatment plans and behavioral health programs.
- Participate in interdisciplinary treatment teams and program development activities.
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in accordance with federal, state, and local requirements.
- Prepare required clinical and legal documentation, including social histories, admission and aftercare summaries, court-related documents, and other required reports.
- Attend staff training, departmental meetings, treatment meetings, and court hearings as required.
- Coordinate referrals and follow-up services with other healthcare facilities, agencies, and community support organizations.
- Provide crisis intervention and respond appropriately to unusual, threatening, or potentially unsafe situations.
- Maintain professional relationships with clients, families, healthcare professionals, agencies, and community support services.
- Follow applicable departmental policies, procedures, and government regulations.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Pay: Up to $48.00 per hour
