JMT Staffing Solutions has partnered with a Springfield, MA area construction firm that is looking for a permanent Construction Superintendent to join their growing team. Immediate project would start in the New Haven, CT area but could stretch up to southern MA as well - must be able to travel to the active sites as needed.
As a Construction Superintendent, your primary responsibility is to oversee all work on the job-site, anticipate problems and coordinate subcontractors to ensure that the project is completed on time and within budget.
Other responsibilities include;
- Maintain schedule and budget
- Maintain quality standards
- Ensure proper safety guidelines are followed daily, facilitate safety training
- Complete site inspections
- Maintain all proper documentation and records
Looking for candidates with 5+ years relevant experience
Must have strong organizational and communication skills
Commercial construction experience preferred (municipal, healthcare or government a plus)
