Supply Management Planner – John Deere Horicon Works This is a high-visibility, long-term opportunity featuring an uncommonly stable 2+ year contract runway paying up to $36/hr, including 1 week of PTO. Operating 100% onsite in Horicon, WI on a standard 1st shift schedule (6:00 AM – 2:30 PM with potential overtime), this role serves as the operational bridge ensuring purchased parts arrive on schedule to support riding lawn equipment and utility vehicle assembly lines.
Position Details & Compensation
- Pay Rate: Up to $36/hr (W2).
- Location: 100% Onsite at John Deere Horicon Works (Horicon, WI).
- Duration: 2+ Years (Providing outstanding multi-year assignment stability).
- Shift & Hours: 1st Shift, 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM, Monday – Friday (Overtime may be required based on production demand).

Core Responsibilities
- Purchased Parts Delivery Management: Coordinate, schedule, and manage the delivery execution of purchased components from both internal facilities and external suppliers to support Horicon Works assembly lines.
- Supplier & Internal Collaboration: Serve as a primary point of contact between suppliers, buyers, and plant operations to mitigate delivery delays and resolve part availability bottlenecks.
- Excel Data & Inventory Analytics: Utilize advanced Microsoft Excel functions (sorting, filtering, formulas, and data management) to track parts inventory, log delivery schedules, and monitor supplier fulfillment metrics.
- Priority Alignment & Problem Solving: Adjust priorities throughout the day in response to shifting factory demands, expediting critical components to prevent line stoppages.
Required Skills & Experience
- Computer & Excel Proficiency: Strong computer literacy, with demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office and hands-on capability in Microsoft Excel (formulas, sorting/filtering, data management).
- Communication & Collaboration: Excellent written and verbal communication skills to interact effectively with suppliers, logistics contacts, and plant teams in a fast-paced environment.
- Multitasking & Organization: Proven ability to manage multiple deadline-driven priorities, maintain attention to detail, and adapt quickly to operational changes.
- Education & Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Operations, or a related field preferred. Recent graduates with relevant degrees and supply chain coursework/internships are welcome and strongly encouraged to apply.
