Job Summary:
Carson City Grocery Outlet is a small, family-owned and operated business seeking reliable and hardworking Freight Team Members to join our team. This role is essential to store operations, ensuring products are efficiently received, stocked, and displayed while maintaining accurate pricing and an organized sales floor.
Key Responsibilities:
- Unload delivery trucks safely and efficiently
- Organize and stage incoming freight
- Stock shelves, coolers, and displays in a timely manner
- Merchandise products to maintain an appealing and well-stocked store appearance
- Ensure price integrity by accurately labeling and updating shelf tags
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in stock areas and sales floor
- Follow all safety procedures and company policies
- Work collaboratively with team members to meet daily operational goals
Qualifications:
- Ability to lift and move heavy items (up to 50 lbs or more)
- Strong work ethic and attention to detail
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Dependable and punctual
- Previous retail or freight experience is a plus, but not required
