American Traveler is seeking an experienced Float Pool RN with telemetry expertise for a 13-week travel contract requiring rotation across multiple Med/Surg Tele units and a valid MA RN license.

Float Pool position requiring willingness to float between 8 different Med/Surg Tele units throughout the hospital (Davenport 5, Davenport 7, Davenport 8, Davenport 9, ED, PH6/7, Pingree 4, and Overflow)

Patient population includes ED border patients, patients in the acute mental health unit (medication nurse role), and non-vented transfer-ready ICU patients

Patient ratios: up to 5:1 on days and evenings; up to 6:1 on nights

Rotating days/evenings schedule with 1 to 3 night rotations per contract, with every other weekend required

Free on-site parking available

Active MA RN license required — no pending or conditional licenses accepted

Current AHA BLS and AHA ACLS certifications required (AHA only; Red Cross and other providers not accepted at this facility)

Minimum 2 years of acute care hospital experience in a single location required

Minimum 2 years of travel nursing experience required

Telemetry skills required, including measuring intervals and interpreting strips every 4 hours

Experience with cardiac drips and TR Band required

2 references required for consideration

Flu vaccine required; no religious or medical exemptions accepted

Responsibilities include cardiac monitoring, administering cardiac drips, and reading telemetry strips
