Duties
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee drinks, teas, and specialty beverages with precision and flair
- Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process transactions accurately and efficiently
- Engage with customers warmly, providing excellent customer service and addressing their needs promptly
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café area, including food handling and food safety practices
- Manage cash handling responsibilities, including cashiering and balancing registers at shift end
- Assist in food preparation and serving, ensuring quality standards are consistently met
- Support inventory management by restocking supplies and monitoring product freshness using basic math skills
Requirements
- Previous barista experience or background in the food industry is highly preferred
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus
- Strong time management skills to handle busy periods efficiently
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, positive attitude
- Knowledge of food safety protocols, food handling, and basic math for retail math calculations
- Ability to stand for extended periods, bend, lift moderate loads, and perform physical tasks involved in café operations
- Experience in cash handling, cashiering, and serving in a retail or food service environment is desirable

Pay: $16.90 - $21.00 per hour
