Must hold current certification in echocardiography as a Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) via ARDMS or Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) via CCI. A minimum of 1 year of experience as an Echo Tech required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
An exciting opportunity is available for an experienced Echo Tech to deliver high-quality imaging services. This contract position calls for expertise in echocardiography and a commitment to patient-centered care.
Schedule:
- 40 hours per week
- 8-hour shifts
- Rotations possible between multiple locations
Key Qualifications:
- Proficient in cardiac imaging, particularly echocardiography (Echo)
- Demonstrated experience as an Echo Technician
- ARDMS or CCI certification highly preferred
- Strong knowledge of performing and interpreting transthoracic and transesophageal echocardiograms
- Excellent attention to detail in documentation and reporting
- Ability to work collaboratively with physicians, nurses, and other allied health professionals
- Flexible and adaptable to potential rotation across facilities as needed
Primary Responsibilities:
- Perform high-quality echocardiograms and related imaging procedures for diagnostic evaluation
- Ensure proper patient preparation and explain procedures to promote comfort and understanding
- Accurately document results and assist in the interpretation of data for cardiologists
- Maintain imaging equipment following infection control and safety protocols
- Organize workflow to ensure timely completion of daily schedules and urgent requests
- Participate in routine quality assurance and equipment maintenance checks
