Water Truck Driver
Black Rock Services is seeking a dependable, safety-focused Water Truck Driver to support operations at our pit and plant. This role is essential to maintaining safe haul roads, controlling dust, and supporting efficient daily operations.
Position Overview
The Water Truck Driver is responsible for operating water trucks to control dust and maintain safe working conditions across haul roads, plant yards, and stockpile areas. This role supports mining and plant operations by minimizing hazards and ensuring compliance with safety and environmental standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate water trucks to control dust on haul roads, pits, and stockpile areas
- Apply water safely to reduce dust without creating hazardous conditions
- Monitor and refill water tanks, pumps, and spray systems
- Inspect haul roads for visibility and safety concerns
- Perform daily equipment inspections and basic maintenance
- Track water usage and support reporting as needed
- Maintain clean, safe, and organized equipment and work areas
- Report equipment issues, hazards, and safety concerns promptly
- Support other operations as needed when water truck use is limited
- Follow all company safety policies and regulatory requirements

- Experience operating water trucks or similar heavy equipment preferred

- Ability to perform basic equipment maintenance and inspections
- Reliable with a strong work ethic
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Willingness to work outdoors in varying conditions

Work Schedule
This is a full-time position with a
compressed work schedule:
- 3 days one week, 4 days the following week
- Typical hours are 6:00 AM – 6:00 PM, with flexibility based on operational needs
