Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Nursing Assistant to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will transport residents to appointments and perform resident care duties under the supervision of licensed nursing personnel, as needed.
Duties
-Transport residents' in facility transportation vechicle to medical appointments
-Schedule doctors' appointments for residents
-Perform personal care of resident's as needed
Requirements
-Current Nursing Assistant Certification from state
-Valid State Driver's License with no more than three entries, counting accidents, moving violations, and failures to appear
-Previous experience in a healthcare setting is preferred
- Knowledge of medical terminology and patient service principles
- Familiarity with electronic health records systems like Cerner is a plus
- Ability to work in diverse healthcare settings including long-term care, critical care, hospital medicine, pediatrics, and urgent care
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
