Job Overview
We're hiring a Flatbed Tow Operator to recover, transport, and move company vehicles safely throughout the San Francisco area. Join the autonomous vehicle industry with this Tow Truck driver position Monday through Friday 8 pm to 4:30 am Night Shift
Responsibilities
- Drive a flatbed tow truck to recover and transport vehicles.
- Load, unload, and secure vehicles safely.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
- Complete driving logs and DOT paperwork.
- Communicate with dispatch and operations teams.
- Keep the tow truck clean and report maintenance issues.
- Follow all safety and DOT regulations.
Requirements
- Valid Class C Driver's License (CDL is a plus, not required).
- 4+ years of flatbed towing or vehicle recovery experience preferred.
- Experience operating rollback/flatbed tow trucks.
- Clean driving record.
- DOT Medical Examiner Certificate (MEC) required.
- Able to lift up to 35 lbs.
- Strong communication skills and attention to safety.
- Must pass a background check and drug screen.
