The Tekipanowame Tekilta Vetchi’ivo (Work Towards Employment) Program case manager is responsible for primarily providing case management services to non-TANF, tribal member households who are not eligible for Y.O.E.M.E. Services or General Assistance Services due to not meeting eligibility requirements for these programs. Besides case management, the nature of the job is informed by the need to provide comparable TANF and General Assistance type services that also include access to workforce development training to include workforce readiness skills, work experience, and on-the-job training to non-TANF and non-General Assistance tribal households. The program is funded by tribal funding and Native Employment Works (NEW) funding that allows for more flexible access to the general tribal member community population.
Associate Degree in social work or comparable discipline, with three (3) years of coordination experience in Social Service; or, an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the job such as those listed above.

Special Requirements:-
Must possess and maintain a valid Arizona Driver’s License;

This position will require the incumbent to work non-traditional hours, nights, and weekends;

Must have a current Level 1 Arizona Clearance Card or be able to obtain the Level 1 Arizona Clearance Card within ninety (90) days of hire. Failure to maintain a current Level 1 Clearance Card will result in termination.
