Responsibilities
- Supervise children during class activities, ensuring proper use of equipment and adherence to safety protocols.
- Foster a positive, motivating atmosphere that encourages participation, confidence, and teamwork among young learners.
- Communicate effectively with parents or guardians regarding children's progress, behavior, and any concerns.
- Maintain a clean and organized gym environment, regularly inspecting equipment for safety and functionality.
- Support the development of behavior management strategies to promote respectful and focused participation.
Skills
- Proven experience working with children in sports or physical education settings, with a strong understanding of child development principles.
- Background in sports-specific training instruction such as gymnastics, martial arts (karate, judo), or cheerleading is highly desirable.
- Demonstrated team leadership abilities with excellent communication skills for engaging children and parents alike.
- Ability to motivate young children through energetic teaching methods while maintaining safety standards at all times.
