We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Business Development Representative to help expand our client base and drive continued growth.
Position Overview
The Business Development Representative will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, developing client relationships, and securing new security service contracts. This position is ideal for a highly motivated sales professional who understands the value of relationship-building and has a passion for helping organizations improve their security operations.
While sales experience is important, we strongly prefer candidates with prior experience in the contract security industry, particularly those who have held leadership or operational roles and understand how security companies operate.

Individuals with established relationships within commercial real estate, property management, healthcare, hospitality, retail, industrial, or construction sectors will be given strong consideration.
Responsibilities
- Identify and prospect new business opportunities throughout the assigned territory.
- Conduct cold calls, email outreach, networking, and follow-up activities to generate qualified leads.
- Build and maintain relationships with property managers, business owners, facility directors, HOA boards, and other decision-makers.
- Schedule and conduct client meetings, presentations, and site visits.
- Prepare proposals and assist with contract negotiations.
- Close new business opportunities and meet sales objectives.
- Collaborate with operations and management teams to ensure successful client onboarding and service delivery.
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities and opportunities within company CRM systems.
- Attend networking events, trade shows, and industry functions to represent RSG Security Inc.
- Stay informed on industry trends, competitor activities, and market opportunities.
QualificationsRequired
- Minimum 2 years of experience in business development, sales, account management, or a related role.
- Proven ability to generate leads and close new business.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Self-motivated and goal-oriented with a strong work ethic.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple opportunities simultaneously.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
Preferred
- Experience within the contract security industry.
- Previous experience as an Account Manager, Branch Manager, Operations Manager, Regional Manager, or similar role within a security company.
- Existing network of contacts in commercial real estate, property management, healthcare, hospitality, or related industries.
- Understanding of security operations, staffing, scheduling, and client management.
