Job Summary
We are seeking an energetic and personable Bartender to join our dynamic hospitality team. In this role, you will craft exceptional beverages, provide outstanding customer service, and create a lively, welcoming atmosphere for guests. Your expertise in drink preparation, POS systems, and hospitality standards will ensure every guest has a memorable experience. Whether working in a fine dining setting, nightclub, or banquet environment, you’ll bring enthusiasm and professionalism to every shift while managing multiple responsibilities with efficiency and flair.
Responsibilities
- Engage with guests in a friendly manner, taking orders, offering recommendations, and ensuring their satisfaction throughout their visit.
- Maintain a clean and organized bar area, adhering to food safety and food handling standards at all times.
- Manage cash handling responsibilities including cashiering and basic math calculations for bills and change.
- Monitor inventory levels of alcohol, mixers, garnishes, and supplies; restock as needed to ensure smooth service.
- Uphold responsible serving practices by checking IDs and recognizing signs of intoxication to promote guest safety.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff during catering or banquet events to coordinate food and beverage service seamlessly.
- Demonstrate excellent time management skills to handle busy periods effectively while maintaining high-quality service.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a bartender in fine dining, nightclub, or banquet settings preferred; hospitality or food service background highly valued.
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and proper food handling procedures.
- Ability to perform basic math accurately for billing, retail math calculations, and cash transactions.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests professionally and warmly.
- Experience with serving alcohol responsibly in various environments including nightclubs or catering events is a plus.
