American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a CVOR position requiring a minimum of 2 years of CVOR experience, including open heart surgery, with on-call responsibilities and weekend rotation.

Position is in a Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) within a hospital setting
-
Cares for open heart surgery patients
-
Day shift schedule, 4x10-hour shifts (6:00 AM – 6:00 PM)

Alternating days off
-
On-call requirement of 1–2 days per week with a 30-minute response time required

Weekend rotation every 3rd or 4th weekend; weekend is defined as Friday 4:30 PM through Monday 6:00 AM

Holiday coverage required as needed, with at least one major holiday expected

Floating required as needed

Epic EMR experience required
-
Active PA RN license or Compact RN license currently in hand

Current BLS certification required

Minimum 2 years of CVOR experience required

Open heart surgery experience required

Scrub experience required

Epic EMR experience required

Must be able to respond on-site within 30 minutes when on call

A clinical review will be conducted to assess clinical fit prior to manager interview

Manager interview is required as part of the selection process

May be assigned to care for COVID-positive patients

Maximum of 7 days of requested time off (RTO) for the contract
