Responsibilities
- Assist with the preparation and presentation of meals according to dietary guidelines and safety standards
- Serve meals to residents with kindness, patience, and professionalism
- Ensure cleanliness and sanitation of all food service areas, utensils, and equipment
- Follow proper food handling procedures to maintain freshness and prevent contamination
- Support residents during meal times, offering assistance as needed to promote independence and comfort
- Help with inventory management by receiving deliveries and storing supplies appropriately
- Maintain accurate documentation of meal service activities and report any concerns or incidents promptly
Qualifications
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with residents, team members, and supervisors
- Prior experience in food service or healthcare settings is a plus but not required; training will be provided
- Knowledge of proper food safety practices and sanitation standards

- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift items as necessary during shifts
