Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Full-Time MIG Welder and Fabricator to join manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for fabricating, welding, and assembling metal components with precision and efficiency. Your expertise will contribute to the creation of high-quality products, ensuring all work adheres to safety standards and industry codes. Must be able to lift 50 plus weight. Must be able to pass a drug/alcohol test/background test.
Responsibilities
- Perform MIG (Metal Inert Gas) welding on material up to 2" thick.
- Read and interpret technical drawings and know basic math.
- Use hand tools, power tools, cutting torch , and other fabrication equipment to shape and assemble metal parts.
- Measure materials with calipers, micrometers, and other precision tools to ensure proper fit and alignment.
- Operate rigging equipment and forklifts safely for material handling and assembly tasks.
- Maintain a clean, organized workspace while following all safety protocols related to welding, machining, rigging, and construction site practices.
- Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines efficiently while maintaining high-quality standards.
Experience
- Hands-on experience with MIG welding (including FCAW - Flux-Cored Arc Welding) and TIG welding techniques.
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings confidently.
- Skilled in using calipers, micrometers, hand tools, forklift and other fabrication machinery.
- Basic math skills for measurements and calculations required during fabrication tasks.
- Need 3-5 years of experience in mig welding, cutting torch experience is a plus
Pay: $19.00 - $25.00 per hour
