Launch Your Clinical Career with Athletic Physical Therapy — Join the A-Team
Are you preparing to apply to DPT or PA school and need verified clinical hours, expert mentorship, and strong letters of recommendation? Athletic Physical Therapy is a therapist-owned outpatient orthopedic practice with 20+ years of success across three locations in West Los Angeles, Westlake Village, and Simi Valley. We are looking for smart, motivated candidates who are serious about a 1–2 year commitment to building real clinical skills.
Pay: $19.00 – $22.00 per hour Starting rate is based on your education, credentials, and verified clinical experience. Candidates with a BS degree in Kinesiology, Exercise Science, Biology, or a related field start at a higher rate. Performance-based raises at 90 days, 6 months, and 1 year.
What You Bring
- A strong foundation in anatomy, physiology, and biomechanics — this is non-negotiable
- A Bachelor of Science degree (higher starting rate for related fields)
- Verified PT aide or clinical experience preferred — volunteer hours and short stints do not qualify
- Confidence guiding patients through exercise progressions under therapist supervision
- Professionalism, reliability, and genuine commitment to a 1–2 year tenure
- Strong multitasking and customer service skills — you will work the clinic floor and the front desk
Schedule Availability required during all of the following hours:
- Monday & Wednesday: 10:00 AM – 7:00 PM
- Thursday: 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM
What You'll Do
- Assist PTs and PTAs in delivering evidence-based orthopedic rehabilitation
- Learn and apply our proprietary ARC Progression system, developed over 20+ years of clinical practice
- Gain hands-on exposure to a wide range of orthopedic diagnoses — post-surgical and non-surgical
- Perform front desk and patient representative duties including scheduling, intake, and co-pay collection
- Attend monthly mentorship meetings with experienced DPTs and PTAs
- Contribute to a clinic culture built on accountability, teamwork, and patient outcomes
