Located in gorgeous Newport Beach, CA we are a well-established litigation firm seeking an Employment Defense Attorney with 3–10+ years of experience to join our rapidly growing practice. This role offers the opportunity to work on sophisticated employment litigation matters for a diverse client base ranging from established companies to emerging businesses.
The ideal candidate will have strong litigation experience, excellent writing skills, and the ability to independently manage cases while collaborating with a highly respected litigation team.

- Base salary ranging from $175K-$325K (Depending on experience)

Responsibilities
- Handle all phases of employment litigation in state and federal courts, as well as arbitration proceedings.
- Draft motions, oppositions, replies, pleadings, and other litigation-related documents.
- Conduct legal research and analyze applicable statutes and case law.
- Manage written discovery, subpoenas, and document review.
- Prepare for and take depositions.
- Assist with trial preparation and support trial teams through all phases of litigation.
- Draft settlement agreements and other litigation-related documents.
- Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and the court.
- Mentor and supervise legal support staff as needed.
- Participate in business development and client relationship efforts.
- Record billable time accurately and promptly.
MUST HAVE:
- 3-10+ years employment litigation defense experience
- ADA compliance, accessibility litigation, and disability discrimination matters and/or PAGA
- Active California Bar license in good standing.
- JD from accreditted university.
NICE TO HAVE:
- Experience providing both litigation and preventative counseling
Pay: $180,000.00 - $350,000.00 per year
