Creative Options LLC is a premier social services agency dedicated to providing the best support to adults with intellectual disabilities (ID).
Have fun making a difference! We are searching for a DSP to promote independence, and be interactive and engaging with adults with ID, provide personal assistance with ADL’s, and engage in community outings/appointments. The adults with developmental disabilities enjoy athletics, outdoor activities, and physical exercise. If you like the same, please apply!
The hours are M-F mornings and occasional afternoons. Up to 24 hours per week.
Occasional weekend and evening work is required for events such as Special Olympics.
Requirements
- Prior experience and knowledge of supporting individuals with intellectual disabilities is desired
- Certification or training in first aid and CPR, and as a DSP would be ideal
- Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members and families
- Solid documentation skills
- Valid driver’s license, vehicle insurance, vehicle registration, and vehicle inspection required for transportation duties or community outings
- Demonstrated compassion and patience
