Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated to Candidate to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for coordinating, scheduling and dispatching our technicians. This role requires strong communication and organizational skills, as well as proficiency in various areas of dispatching and time management. The Scheduler / Dispatcher will play a crucial role in maintaining efficient operations within the Company.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate and manage daily dispatch operations
- Scheduling service calls and routing technicians
- Answer incoming phone calls from customers & technicians
- Gathering detailed information from customers / technicians
- Tracking our technicians using maps & GPS
- Answering customer questions regarding issues
- Answering Radio
- Emailing customers, technicians, responding to emails
- Time Management / Prioritizing daily tasks
- Utilize GPS technologies to optimize routes and ensure timely arrivals
- Monitor and analyze transportation management systems to enhance technical efficiency.
- Communicate effectively with drivers, clients, and other stakeholders via multi-line phone systems.
- Maintain accurate data entry
- Assist in transportation planning by analyzing routes and requirements.
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies during dispatching processes.
Qualifications
- Must be Bilingual – Fluent in English & Spanish
- Must be able to pass a background check
- Must be able to type (basic computer skills)
- Must be able to pass a drug test
- Must have reliable transportation
- Must be able to work 40 hours a week
- Must have high school diploma or GED
- Interested in Long term employment
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to assess data for effective decision-making
- Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills to interact professionally with clients and team members.
- Proficiency in typing and using various software applications relevant to dispatching tasks
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure while managing multiple priorities.
