Overview
Located in Annandale, VA, Down the Line (DTL) Sports Center is a premier pickleball and indoor golf simulators. It has 12 courts, and features programming across both pickleball and golf.
We are seeking support for Operations Staff to join our team. This role includes operations at DTL Sports Center is running smoothly across the board from front desk to the courts. The candidate should demonstrate strong customer service skills, collaborate effectively with teams, and thrive in a fast-paced workplace.
Responsibilities
- Greet customers, answer questions, and check-in customers for the center
- Answer phone inquiries regarding pricing or schedules
- Monitor court floor, golf bays and other areas of the facility, to ensure members use equipment properly and facility is maintain
- Assist with facility setup, such as table/chair setup and breakdown for various events and tournaments at the facility
- Assist with membership sign-ups billing updates, cancellations, and processing any retail purchases from our equipment shop
- Assist with resolving member and customer complaints providing the best possible solutions available
- Conduct gym tours for prospective members and explain current promotions, and pricing structures for future members
- Support inventory management, including tracking supplies and equipment
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of tasks
- Communicate effectively with internal teams members and customers
Experience
- Prior experience in working at a sports center facility is preferred but not required
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities and multitask effectively
- Basic proficiency in computer skills – using our PodPlay app is needed to manage our day-to-day programming
- A proactive attitude with a willingness to learn and grow within the role
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $14.00 - $17.00 per hour
