Job Requirements
We are seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapist I for a full-time position that is uniquely split between inpatient acute care and outpatient settings. Our outpatient clinics provide personalized 1:1, 40-minute therapy sessions, serving both adult and pediatric patients. This role offers the opportunity to work across diverse patient populations and care environments, delivering comprehensive occupational therapy services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate, plan, and implement occupational therapy treatment programs for patients in both inpatient acute care and outpatient settings.
- Provide individualized therapy sessions tailored to the specific needs of adult and pediatric patients.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and adjust treatment plans.
- Document patient progress and maintain accurate clinical records in compliance with regulatory standards.
- Educate patients and their families on therapeutic techniques and adaptive strategies to enhance daily living skills.
- Participate in continuous professional development and stay current with best practices in occupational therapy.
Work Experience
Qualifications:
- Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
- Valid state licensure or eligibility to obtain licensure as an Occupational Therapist.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively with diverse patient populations, including adults and children.
