Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Inventory/Production Specialist to join our supply chain and procurement team. This position offers an excellent opportunity for growth within a dynamic organization committed to operational excellence.
Responsibilities
- Assist in preparing and issuing purchase orders for raw materials, components, and production supplies
- Monitor order confirmations, delivery dates, and quantities
- Communicate with suppliers regarding order status, lead times, and discrepancies
- Support supplier documentation and record maintenance
- Assist in creating and updating production schedules based on demand forecasts and capacity
- Help coordinate material availability with production requirements
- Track work orders and assist with schedule adjustments as needed
- Support cross-functional coordination with production, engineering, and quality teams
- Monitor inventory levels and assist with reorder point tracking
- Help maintain accurate records in ERP/MRP systems
- Assist with cycle counts and inventory reconciliation
- Support reporting on shortages, excess inventory, and material usage
- Maintain purchasing and planning records in accordance with company procedures
- Other duties as assigned by Management
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 0–2 years of experience in purchasing, production planning, supply chain, or manufacturing support(internship or entry-level experience acceptable)
- Basic proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Outlook
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to communicate clearly with internal teams and external vendors
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Manufacturing or a related field is preferred but not mandatory.
