Objective:
Establish and Maintain Standard Operating Procedures for our pharmacy services through hands-on training and direct support for our pharmacy personnel.
Essential Function:
Flexible request only schedule with a variety of shifts that are in demand (NO "Only Evenings and Weekends")! Daytime, Afternoon, Early Evenings.
For the 'Lincoln' Relief Technician position - You Must be available for travel to all Lincoln based B&R Pharmacies. For other locations, you will generally serve that area's store, with other store opportunities.
Reports to the Pharmacy Director.
Gaining expert knowledge of pharmacy operations and all offered pharmacy services, then relaying that to our pharmacy teams using a hands-on, direct approach. Requires long periods of standing and some travel.
Must be privacy practices certifiable and abide by HIPAA regulations.
Basic Functions:
1) Follow directives of Pharmacy Director.
2) Complete required training on all services offered.
3) Work with each pharmacy manager to add service training and support where needed.
4) Work in coordination with the Pharmacy Director to ensure standardized procedures are being implemented and trained.
5) Understand and provide sales and profit feedback to pharmacy managers.
6) Maintain a friendly, professional attitude.
7) Provide feedback on pharmacy managers to the Director of Pharmacy for each evaluation.
8) Follow Company Safety Standards.
Specific Skills:
1) Be current on all Federal and State laws.
2) Must maintain confidentiality, at all times.
3) Minimum 6 years of experience in retail pharmacy operations required.
4) Expert level knowledge of pharmacy business model required.
5) Demonstrated ability to add pharmacy services into a workflow successfully.
6) Must be privacy practices certifiable and abide by HIPAA regulations.
7) Engagement and leadership of pharmacy colleagues.
8) Set a positive image of customer and pharmacy service in the store and community.
9) Plan, organize, and direct pharmacy activities.
