POSITION DESCRIPTION.
LG Auto Body has an immediate opportunity for a highly motivated Customer Service Representative. We are a family-owned collision repair facility. The CSR is responsible for providing office administration and superior customer service customers throughout the repair process.
We are a certified repair shop for well-known vehicle car manufacturers, so our expectations are very high. We pride ourselves in efficiency, integrity and quality work. Currently we are looking for an applicant who will be responsible for the clerical admin. duties and assisting the onsite Estimator. You have the opportunity for advancement, with training in all areas being provided.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
- Be sure that all invoices are placed with the correct file for review
- Knowledge on the car service industry is a plus(Collison Repair Service Preferred)
- knowledge of CCC estimating system is mandatory
- Update accounts receivable (Checks, Customer payments, Payments from insurance companies, etc.)
- Contact customers with any issues, updates or follow up for any situations that may have come up with their vehicle
- Work on final billing of completed jobs
- Answer incoming phone calls
- Follow-up with potential customers to schedule repairs
- Schedule customer appointments
- Update various shop management software programs
- Perform basic bookkeeping tasks such as posting payments
- Keep work area clean and organized
KNOWLEDCE AND SKILLS
The following knowledge and skills are required for this position:
- Bilingual is a plus (English, Spanish)
- Minimum of three years of customer service experience
- Skilled in communicating with customers, vendors, suppliers, and insurers
- Skilled in basic computer data-entry, Microsoft office and internet-based applications
- Demonstrated computer /software proficiency
- Demonstrated organization and detail skills
- Ability to effectively manage multiple task simultaneously and independently in a fast-paced work environment.
