Responsibilities
- Assist customers in selecting and purchasing TCG products, including booster packs, singles, accessories, and collectibles
- Conduct product demonstrations and explain game mechanics to enhance customer understanding and engagement
- Maintain attractive merchandise displays and ensure proper merchandising standards are upheld
- Manage stock levels through stocking, inventory checks, and replenishment to keep the sales floor well-organized
- Upsell complementary products such as sleeves, decks, or storage solutions to maximize sales opportunities
- Handle cash register operations using POS systems accurately and efficiently, including cash handling and cashiering duties
- Provide friendly phone etiquette when answering inquiries or placing orders, supporting a positive shopping experience
Requirements
- Previous retail sales experience, preferably in a grocery store or specialty retail environment
- Demonstrated knowledge of Trading Card Games (e.g., Magic: The Gathering, Pokémon TCG) with the ability to educate customers on gameplay and card values
- Supervising experience is a plus, with the ability to lead by example and assist team members as needed
- Bilingual skills are highly desirable but not required.
- Strong communication skills with excellent phone etiquette and customer service orientation
- Basic math skills for cash handling, POS transactions, and retail math calculations
- Experience with merchandising, stocking shelves, and product demos to engage customers effectively
- Familiarity with retail operations is advantageous but not required
