Job Overview
We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Leasing Manager to lead our property leasing operations with enthusiasm and professionalism. Responsibilities
- Manage all aspects of the leasing process, including marketing available units, conducting property tours, and qualifying prospective tenants.
- Utilize property management software such as Yardi to track leads, lease agreements, and occupancy data accurately.
- Ensure compliance with Fair Housing regulations, Landlord-Tenant laws, Section 8 guidelines, LIHTC (Low-Income Housing Tax Credit) requirements, and other applicable legal standards.
- Prepare, review, and negotiate lease contracts and related legal documents with applicants while maintaining meticulous records.
- Coordinate with maintenance teams to ensure properties are well-maintained and ready for showings; address tenant concerns promptly.
- Conduct data entry, filing, and administrative tasks efficiently using office tools and property management platforms.
- Foster positive relationships with tenants through excellent customer service, conflict management skills, and upselling additional services or amenities when appropriate.
Skills
- Strong knowledge of Section 8 housing vouchers, Fair Housing regulations, and landlord-tenant law.
- Proficiency in Yardi for data management and reporting.
- Demonstrated experience in property leasing, property management administration, and real estate administrative functions.
- Excellent customer service skills paired with effective phone etiquette and conflict resolution abilities.
- Proven negotiation skills for lease agreements and contract discussions; ability to upsell amenities or services confidently.
- Familiarity with facilities management practices related to property maintenance and tenant safety protocols.
- Ability to handle legal administrative tasks such as filing legal documents, managing contracts, and understanding landlord rights and responsibilities.
Pay: $50,000.00 per year
