About Us
Leavitt Marriage and Family Therapy is a fully remote group mental health practice serving clients throughout California. Our clinicians provide long-term outpatient psychotherapy to children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families.
We are currently seeking a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to join our team as a Clinical Supervisor. This is a long-term W-2 position providing clinical supervision to AMFTs, APCCs, ACSWs as they work toward licensure.
Position Overview
This position is fully remote and consists of providing individual, triadic, and group clinical supervision to associate therapists. Associates join our practice with the intention of building long-term careers, and supervisors play an important role in supporting them from onboarding through licensure.
Supervisors begin with a smaller number of supervisees, with a gradual build-up to a maximum of approximately six associates.
Responsibilities
- Provide individual, triadic, and group clinical supervision in accordance with California BBS requirements.
- Support associate therapists in developing strong clinical skills and professional judgment.
- Review clinical cases involving a diverse range of presenting concerns and client populations.
- Assist associates with ethical decision-making, documentation, treatment planning, and risk assessment.
- Complete and maintain required supervision documentation.
- Collaborate with the practice leadership team regarding associate development and clinical support.
- Foster a supportive, encouraging, and educational supervision environment.
Qualifications
- Active California Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) license in good standing.
- Current California BBS-approved clinical supervisor.
- Must reside in California.
- Strong knowledge of California BBS regulations and supervision requirements.
- Experience providing psychotherapy through telehealth.
- Comfortable supervising clinicians working with a wide variety of clinical presentations and diverse populations.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Passion for mentoring and supporting developing clinicians.
