This position is for Mondays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays from 7:45 am to 5:15 pm. There is opportunity for more hours and growth in the future! Feel free to reach out to us with any questions regarding this.
Responsibilities
- Greet patients warmly, answer multi-line phone systems, and manage appointment scheduling using Curve Hero.
- Verify insurance coverage, process payments, and handle billing while ensuring HIPAA compliance.
- Maintain accurate dental records and medical documentation review to support care plans and treatment documentation.
- Assist with intake procedures, including collecting patient information and updating electronic health records.
- Manage filing of dental and medical records, ensure proper documentation review, and facilitate smooth office operations.
- Demonstrate excellent phone etiquette while managing appointment reminders and patient inquiries efficiently.
Experience
- Prior dental experience is required.
- Proven experience with softwares such as Curve, Dentrix, Eaglesoft, or similar platforms.
- Strong understanding of HIPAA regulations.
- Demonstrated ability to handle medical administrative support tasks such as documentation review, filing, and health information management.
- Excellent computer skills is essential.
- Bilingual abilities are a plus to serve diverse patient populations effectively.
