Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented E-commerce Order Fulfillment & Inventory Control Coordinator to join our fast-paced logistics team. Responsibilities
- Process, pick, pack, and ship online customer orders accurately and efficiently.
- Verify order accuracy before shipment to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Receive, inspect, and stock incoming inventory.
- Monitor inventory levels and perform routine cycle counts to maintain inventory accuracy.
- Update inventory quantities within the e-commerce and inventory management systems.
- Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies.
- Prepare shipping labels and coordinate shipments with carriers such as UPS, FedEx, and USPS.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse and fulfillment area.
- Assist with product labeling, packaging, and merchandising as needed.
- Process product returns and restock inventory when appropriate.
- Communicate with customer service regarding order issues, backorders, or shipping delays.
- Support seasonal inventory counts and warehouse projects.
- Follow company procedures for quality control, inventory management, and workplace safety.
Requirements
- Proven experience in warehouse operations with a focus on e-commerce order fulfillment and inventory control.
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS), ERP platforms such as AS400 or equivalent, and inventory management software.
- Strong knowledge of shipping logistics, including shipping & receiving procedures, trade compliance, and international trade regulations.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications for reporting and documentation purposes.
- Ability to perform basic math calculations accurately for inventory counts and order processing.
- Experience operating warehouse equipment such as reach trucks, pallet jacks, forklifts (certification preferred), and RF scanners.
- Excellent data entry skills with attention to detail for maintaining precise records of inventory movements.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Customer service mindset with effective communication skills to liaise with team members and external partners effectively.
