Direct Support Professional (Direct Care Worker)
Locations: New Castle, Kent, and Sussex Counties, Delaware
Starting Pay: $18.50 per hour

In this role, you'll provide support to adults with developmental disabilities, helping them live as independently as possible while encouraging community involvement and personal growth.
Responsibilities
- Assist with daily living activities and personal care
- Support individuals with meal preparation and dietary needs
- Administer medications after completing required certification
- Encourage community participation and recreational activities
- Help individuals achieve personal goals and increase independence
- Complete required documentation accurately and timely
- Maintain a safe, respectful, and person-centered environment
Qualifications
- Valid Delaware driver's license
- Ability to assist individuals with mobility and daily activities, including lifting, transferring, bending, walking, kneeling, squatting, reaching, and climbing as needed
- Successful completion of a criminal background check, physical examination, and drug screening
- Ability to complete all required state and agency training
Schedule
- Full-time and part-time opportunities available
- Day, evening, overnight, weekend, and holiday shifts
- Schedules based on program needs

- Dover, DE: Relocate before starting work (Required)
