Job Summary
We are seeking a highly organized and communicative Dispatcher and Customer Service Representative to join our team. This role involves coordinating field operations, ensuring timely and efficient responses to customer needs. This position involves real-time communication with drivers, technicians, and internal teams to manage schedules and resolve issues. The ideal candidate will possess strong analysis skills, familiarity with transportation management systems, and excellent communication abilities to provide exceptional service and streamline dispatch processes.
Duties
- Receive and prioritize service requests, dispatch crews based on urgency and location.
- Monitor crew status using CRM (Housecall Pro), GPS, and other systems; provide updates and instructions.
- Communicate route changes and support field staff throughout the day.
- Maintain accurate dispatch records and logs.
- Collaborate with sales and other departments to address scheduling or operational challenges.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and transportation regulations.
- Support fleet management activities by tracking vehicle maintenance schedules
Experience
- Prior experience in nationwide transportation management or logistics is preferred.
- Familiarity with transportation planning tools such as GPS devices, and HouseCall Pro is highly desirable.
- Strong analysis skills for troubleshooting routing issues or optimizing nationwide route schedules.
- Proven ability in dispatching work crews management systems and related software.
- Excellent communication skills including phone etiquette.
- Proficiency in data entry and typing for accurate record keeping.
- Knowledge of dispatching work crew procedures, job coordination, and work crew management practices is a plus.
Pay: $35,360.00 - $41,600.00 per hour
