Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join our dynamic finance team. In this pivotal role, you will oversee complex accounting functions, ensure compliance with GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles), and support financial reporting processes. Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP standards.
- Manage accounts payable and receivable processes, ensuring timely payments and collections.
- Perform account reconciliations for general ledger accounts to verify accuracy and completeness.
- Assuring journal entries accurately using ERP System
- Support internal controls compliance by assisting with SOX (Sarbanes-Oxley Act) procedures and documentation.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Maintain detailed records of account activities, perform account analysis, and prepare reports for management review.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field.
- Proven experience accounting with a focus on general ledger accounting and bookkeeping.
- Strong understanding of GAAP principles and technical accounting concepts.
- Proficiency with accounting Systems
- Familiarity with SOX compliance requirements and internal control procedures.
- Excellent analysis skills combined with attention to detail for account reconciliation and journal entries.
- Knowledge of governmental accounting standards .
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple priorities efficiently while maintaining accuracy in data entry and recordkeeping. Pay: $80,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
