Key Responsibilities:
- Create and maintain a clean, organized, and safe classroom environment
- Actively supervise and engage with children throughout the day, both indoors and outdoors
- Greet parents warmly during drop-off and pick-up; communicate daily highlights and classroom updates
- Support children emotionally and behaviorally—redirecting with patience, not punishment
- Implement age-appropriate, play-based learning activities that are fun, creative, and meaningful
- Adapt to the needs of the classroom and improvise when necessary (songs, games, transitions, etc.)
- Maintain consistent communication with management, especially regarding child health, behavior, or incidents
- Keep up with daily hygiene, cleanliness, and classroom reset expectations
- Adhere to all state licensing regulations and center policies including ratios, documentation, supervision, safety, and health standards
- Maintain accurate attendance, incident, and daily reports as required
- Arrive on time and be dependable—your presence impacts the entire team
- Present yourself in a clean, casually professional manner (no pajamas or worn-out clothing)

Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- CDA or Early Childhood Education coursework preferred
- Prior experience in a childcare, preschool, or early education setting strongly preferred
- Familiarity with state childcare licensing requirements and willingness to stay up to date with them
- Must pass a background check and meet local/state licensing requirements
