We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic educator to join our team at Lightfoot Elementary as a Grade 5 Teacher. Responsibilities

- Communicate regularly with parents and guardians regarding student progress, challenges, and achievements.
- Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and contribute to school-wide initiatives and professional development.
- Participate in school events, meetings, and committees as required.
- Stay current with educational trends and best practices, incorporating new strategies into your teaching.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field;
- Valid teaching certification or license for Grade 5 or willing to obtain.
- Experience teaching at the elementary level.
- Strong understanding of child development and effective instructional strategies.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.
- Proficient in using technology and educational software to enhance learning.
