Iowa Pathology Associates, P.C. is seeking a talented and highly motivated Histology Aide to prepare tissues for gross examination in a surgical pathology laboratory. Position Hours: Monday-Friday 5pm-10pm
Responsibilities:
- Prepare tissues for gross examination.
- Perform QC where required.
- Maintain proper documentation including proper specimen handling, labeling and preparation of worksheets.
- Ensure full regulatory compliance, providing test results with the best possible quality.
- Apply knowledge of good laboratory practice on a daily basis.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma, Associate's Degree, or Bachelor's Degree
- No prior histology experience is necessary
Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour
